Trailer Hitch Drop Calculator
What is a Trailer Hitch Drop?
A trailer hitch drop refers to the difference in height between your vehicle’s hitch receiver and your trailer’s coupler height. This measurement is crucial for ensuring your trailer tows level behind your vehicle. When the trailer is level, it provides optimal weight distribution, better handling, and safer towing conditions. The drop or rise of a ball mount is measured from the top of the receiver tube to the top of the ball platform.
