What is Reverb Fees
Reverb fees are the costs associated with selling musical equipment and instruments on the Reverb marketplace. These fees consist of two main components: the selling fee and payment processing fee. The selling fee is a flat 5% of the total sale price (including shipping), while payment processing fees vary depending on your seller status and chosen payment method. For Reverb Payments, normal sellers pay 3.19% + $0.49, preferred sellers pay 2.99% + $0.49, and PayPal users pay 3.49% + $0.49 for domestic transactions.
How to Calculate Reverb Selling Fees
Step 1: Enter your item’s listing price in the designated field. This should be the base price you want to sell your musical equipment for.
Step 2: Input your shipping cost. This amount will be added to your total sale price for fee calculations.
Step 3: Select your tax rate percentage. The default is set to 5%, but you can adjust this based on your location.
Step 4: Choose your payment processing method from the dropdown menu. Select between Reverb Payments as a normal seller, preferred seller, or PayPal.
Step 5: Specify whether your transaction is domestic or international. International transactions incur additional processing fees.
Step 6: Review the calculated results, which will show your selling fee, sales tax, payment processing fee, and total fees. The explanation section provides a detailed breakdown of how each fee was calculated.
