Battle Mechanics Guide
Damage Formula
Damage calculation considers attack stats, defense stats, move power, type effectiveness, level, and various modifiers. Critical hits multiply damage by 1.5x while STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) provides 1.2x multiplier.
Stat Training
Training Points (TPs) allow customization of Loomian stats. Each stat can receive up to 200 TPs, with a total limit of 500 TPs per Loomian. Unique Points (UPs) provide additional stat boosts based on individual values.
Nature Effects
Natures affect stat growth by increasing one stat by 10% while decreasing another by 10%. Neutral natures like Hardy don’t modify any stats. Choose natures that complement your strategy.
Type Matchups
Type effectiveness plays a crucial role in damage calculation. Super effective moves deal 2x damage, not very effective moves deal 0.5x damage, and some combinations result in no effect (0x damage).
Items & Weather
Held items can boost stats or provide special effects during battle. Weather conditions affect certain move types – Sunny boosts Fire moves, Rainy boosts Water moves, and other conditions have unique effects.
