Flaming Strategy
Optimal Flaming Approach:
- Start with Rainbow Flames for endgame equipment
- Focus on ATT and main stat increases first
- Consider equipment level for stat scaling
- Weapons benefit most from ATT flames
- Armor pieces should prioritize main stats
- Accessories can benefit from all stat types
- Higher level equipment has better stat ranges
- Plan your meso budget accordingly
Stat Priority by Equipment
Weapons & Secondary
Priority: ATT > Main Stat > All Stat > HP/MP
ATT flames provide the most damage increase for weapons. Main stat follows as secondary priority.
Armor Equipment
Priority: Main Stat > All Stat > ATT > HP/MP
Main stat flames provide consistent damage and stat increases for armor pieces.
Accessories
Priority: Main Stat = ATT > All Stat > HP/MP
Accessories can benefit equally from ATT and main stat flames depending on class needs.
Emblems
Priority: ATT > Main Stat > All Stat > HP/MP
Emblems should prioritize ATT flames similar to weapons for maximum damage output.
Advanced Flame Mechanics
Each equipment piece can have up to 4 different flame lines. The number of lines and their tiers are randomly determined when using a flame. Higher tier flames have better chances of rolling higher tier stats.
Key Mechanics:
- Flame stats are independent of other enhancement systems
- Each flame line has its own tier and stat type
- Equipment level affects maximum possible stat values
- Flame types determine maximum achievable tiers
- Some stats cannot appear on certain equipment types
- Flame reset scrolls can remove unwanted flames
- Premium flames guarantee certain minimum requirements
- Flame advantage scrolls improve success rates
Cost-Benefit Analysis
When deciding on flame investments, consider the equipment’s longevity and your current progression stage. Temporary equipment may not warrant expensive Rainbow Flames, while endgame equipment justifies the investment.
Budget Consideration
Calculate the total cost of achieving desired flame stats. Sometimes multiple Red Flames can be more cost-effective than few Rainbow Flames.
Equipment Lifespan
Invest heavily in equipment you plan to use long-term. Temporary upgrades should use more affordable flame options.
