Calculation Methods

Ceiling Tiles

Total Area = Length × Width
Tile Area = Tile Length × Tile Width
Tiles Needed = (Total Area ÷ Tile Area) × (1 + Waste %)

Always round up to the nearest whole number for tile quantities.

Grid Components

Main Runners = (Room Width ÷ Grid Spacing) + 1
Cross Tees = Based on grid pattern and tile size
Wall Molding = Total Perimeter ÷ 12 ft lengths
