How to Use the Word Count Checker Tool

1. Input Your Text

Locate the large text area box on the page, labeled "Type or paste your text here...". You can either type directly into this box or paste text from another source. To paste text, simply copy the desired text from your source and then click inside the text area box and press Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac).

2. Count the Text

After you have entered the text, click the "Count" button located directly below the text area box.

3. View the Results

Once the "Count" button is pressed, the tool will display several pieces of information in the results section below the button. Each piece of information is highlighted for better visibility:

• Words: The total number of words in your text.
• Characters: The total number of characters in your text, excluding spaces.
• Sentences: The total number of sentences in your text.
• Paragraphs: The total number of paragraphs in your text.
• Reading Time: The estimated time it would take to read the text, assuming an average reading speed of 200 words per minute.
• Keyword Density: The five most frequently occurring words in your text, excluding common prepositions and conjunctions, along with their count.
• Reading Level: An estimate of the text's readability level, expressed as a numerical score along with a description of the level. The reading level score is calculated based on the average length of words and sentences.
