What is NUST Aggregate?

The NUST Aggregate is a composite score used by the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan to evaluate and rank applicants for undergraduate admissions.

This aggregate score is calculated by combining a student’s academic performance in Matric (or O-Level), FSc (or A-Level), and their score in the NUST Entry Test (NET). The aggregate is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of a student’s academic abilities and potential.

How to Use the NUST Aggregate Calculator?

1. Enter Matric/O-Level Marks: In the first input field, enter your total marks obtained in Matric (10th grade) or O-Level examinations. This should be out of a total of 1100 marks. If you have an O-Level certificate, make sure to use the converted marks as per the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) equivalence.

2. Input FSc/A-Level Marks: In the second field, enter your total marks obtained in FSc (12th grade) or A-Level examinations. Again, this should be out of a total of 1100 marks. For A-Level students, use the IBCC equivalent marks.

3. Provide NET Score: Enter your NUST Entry Test (NET) score in the third field. This score is out of a total of 200 marks.

4. Calculate Aggregate: After entering all the required information, click on the “Calculate Aggregate” button. The calculated aggregate percentage will be displayed below the form. This percentage represents your overall NUST aggregate score.

The tool also provides a breakdown of how each component contributes to your aggregate. You’ll see the weighted percentages for Matric/O-Level (10%), FSc/A-Level (15%), and NET (75%).

5. Interpret the Results: A higher aggregate percentage indicates a better chance of admission to NUST programs. Generally, an aggregate above 70% is considered competitive, but the exact cutoff varies by program and year.

6. Consider Program Requirements: Keep in mind that different NUST programs may have specific subject requirements or additional criteria beyond the aggregate score.

While this calculator provides a good estimate, always refer to NUST’s official website or admission office for the most up-to-date information on admission

By using this NUST Aggregate Calculator, prospective students can quickly and easily assess their standing for NUST admissions, helping them make informed decisions about their academic future and admission strategies.
