Labor Probability Calculator
How to use the Labor Probability Calculator?
1. Locate the input field labeled “Due Date” on the page.
2. Click on the date input field to open a calendar picker.
3. Select your estimated due date from the calendar. This is typically the date provided by your healthcare provider based on your last menstrual period or early ultrasound measurements.
4. Once you’ve selected your due date, click the “Calculate Probability” button. The calculator will process your input and display the results below the form.
You’ll see two main probability estimates:
- The probability of going into labor today
- The probability of going into labor within the next 7 days
Read the explanation provided below the results to understand the context of these probabilities.
If you want to recalculate or check a different date, simply change the due date in the input field and click the “Calculate Probability” button again.
It’s important to note that this calculator provides estimates based on statistical averages and should not be used as a substitute for medical advice. Every pregnancy is unique, and factors such as medical history, previous pregnancies, and individual health conditions can affect the timing of labor.
The tool is most accurate when used close to your due date. Probabilities may be less reliable if you’re still many weeks away from your estimated due date or if you’re significantly past your due date.
