How to Use the Discount Calculator?

1. Price before discount: Enter the original price of the item before applying any discount.

2. Discount (%): Enter the discount percentage you want to apply to the original price.

3. Is tax included in price: Select “Yes” if the original price already includes tax.

Select “No” if the original price does not include tax. If “No” is selected, an additional input field will appear where you can enter the sales tax percentage.

4. Sales Tax (%): If you selected “No” for the tax inclusion question, enter the sales tax percentage in this field.

5. Calculate: Click the “Calculate” button to process the information and calculate the final price after the discount and tax.

6. Results: The tool will display the following results prominently:

• Price after discount: The final price of the item after applying the discount (and adding tax if applicable).
• You saved: The amount of money you saved from the original price due to the discount.
