How to Use the Bowling Score Calculator?

1. Starting the Game
When you open the calculator, you’ll see a scorecard with 10 frames, each representing a turn in a bowling game. Below the scorecard, there are buttons numbered 0-10 and an ‘X’ for strikes.

2. Entering Scores

  • For each roll, click the button that corresponds to the number of pins you knocked down.
  • If you knock down all 10 pins on your first roll, click ‘X’ for a strike.
  • The calculator will automatically move to the next roll or frame.

3. Understanding the Display

  • Each frame has two (or three for the 10th frame) small boxes for individual roll scores.
  • Below these boxes, you’ll see the cumulative score for that frame.

4. Strikes and Spares

  • If you roll a strike, an ‘X’ will appear in the first box of that frame.
  • For a spare, the second box will show a ‘/’.
  • The calculator will automatically adjust scores for strikes and spares as you continue to enter rolls.

5. 10th Frame

  • In the 10th frame, you get a third roll if you score a strike or spare.
  • Enter all rolls as normal, and the calculator will handle the scoring.

6. Viewing Results

  • As you enter scores, the calculator updates the total score in real-time.
  • After completing all frames, you’ll see a summary below the scorecard.

7. Game Summary

  • The summary shows your total score, number of strikes, and number of spares.
  • It also provides a brief performance assessment based on your score.

8. Resetting the Game

To start a new game, simply click the ‘Reset’ button at any time.

9. Analyzing Your Performance

  • Use the game summary to track your progress over time.
  • Pay attention to your strike and spare percentages to identify areas for improvement.

10. Practice Scenarios
