A comprehensive assessment to evaluate your ability to identify and describe emotions
About This Test
Alexithymia refers to difficulty in identifying, understanding, and expressing emotions. This test uses the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20), a scientifically validated 20-item questionnaire that measures three key dimensions:
- Difficulty Identifying Feelings (DIF): Problems recognizing and distinguishing between emotions and physical sensations
- Difficulty Describing Feelings (DDF): Problems describing emotions to others
- Externally Oriented Thinking (EOT): Tendency to focus on external events rather than inner experiences
