Eligibility Requirements
- Served at least 90 aggregate days on active duty after September 10, 2001
- Received honorable discharge from service
- Not currently serving on active duty
- Enrolled in approved education program
- Must be pursuing training at more than half-time for full MHA
Payment Schedule
- Payments made monthly in arrears
- Prorated for partial months of enrollment
- No payment for breaks between semesters exceeding 8 weeks
- Summer break payments may continue under certain conditions
- First payment typically arrives 4-6 weeks after enrollment
